Holliswood Gardens is a lovely garden apartment community of two-story buildings situated in the middle of Holliswood between Hillside Avenue to the South, McLaughlin Avenue to the North, between 188th Street and Francis Lewis Blvd.  It consists of 262 apartments, most of them individually owned.

The complex has tree-lined streets, landscaped interior courtyards, bushes and flowers everywhere.  Many residents plant beautiful flower gardens in front of their homes.  There is also a large grassy area with flowering trees where residents may bring their chairs and relax.
